DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are looking into a break-in at a Dayton restaurant.
Officers were called to the JJ Fish and Chicken located at 2314 North Gettysburg Avenue after an alarm went off before 6 a.m. Saturday.
Officials were greeted by the manager who said someone pulled the plywood boards off a window that had been previously broken out and broke into the business.
The manager reviewed the surveillance video from inside the store, which showed a person wearing dark clothing breaking in through the window, walking behind the counter, and trying to take money out of the cash registers. When the suspect realized the registers were empty, the suspect left the scene.
No arrests have been made.
Police are still investigating.
