The accident happened at the intersection of Alex Road and Kimberly Lane near the railroad tracks around 2 p.m. when a car collided with the cruiser.

At least two people were taken to the hospital for their injuries. One of them was the officer driving the cruiser; the other was a pastor who was riding as his passenger.

No word on the driver in the other car.

It’s unclear who caused the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
