A Troy lawmaker wants to give a popular candy some statewide recognition.

Representative Richard Adams has introduced a bill that would make the Buckeye the state’s official candy.

The legislation describes a Buckeye as a confection of peanut butter mixture dipped in chocolate.

Thanks to Esther Price for sending us some pictures of its Buckeyes.
