Fire destroys Clark County home

MOORFIELD TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Firefighters battled an overnight fire in Clark County.

The call came in just before 11:00 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters arrived at the home in the 4300 block of Burchill Street to find the house engulfed. They immediately called for help from other departments to help knock down the flames.

Firefighters say the home had no working smoke detectors.

No one was hurt. Fire officials say it looks like the fire started accidentally.

Damage is estimated at $120,000.
