Drug raid suspects plead not guilty

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Three men arrested during a drug raid in New Carlisle made their first court appearance Thursday.

All three pleaded not guilty to drug charges.

Bond was set at $20,000 each for Joseph Marshall, Damian Bateman and Derrick Keaton.

Officers from multiple agencies conducted a raid Wednesday morning at a house on the corner of North Scott Street and Fenwick Drive.

They confiscated a total of 34 heroin capsules and $2,000 in cash.

Additional charges could come when prosecutors present their case to a grand jury.
