KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – Steve Clark is no longer the treasurer for Kettering City Schools. Clark resigned at Monday night’s board meeting.

Clark was placed on administrative leave May 6. The district says Clark had a strained relationship with former Superintendent, Jim Schoenlein, who resigned in June.

2 NEWS reached out to Clark’s attorney Monday night.

David Duwel told us Clark resigned in exchange for a severance agreement, under which he’ll be continue to be paid for 19 months. Clark will also receive accrued sick and vacation pay.

That agreement is still being formalized.
