Motorhome rally roars into Dayton

The University of Dayton and Premier Health announced plans to buy the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in January.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – If you see an unusual number of motorhomes through the weekend, you are not alone.

The Safari Motorhomes Rally begins Tuesday at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

Drivers from as far away as Texas and Florida will roar into Dayton for the four day rally themed Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

The majority of visitors are from the club’s north central region including Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

The motorhome enthusiasts are bound to spend while they’re here.
