SHELBY/MIAMI Co., Ohio (WDTN) – One of the newest traffic construction areas is on I-75 south at mile markers 87-84 in Shelby County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says drivers aren’t watching the road carefully because of the number of crashes there.

Sgt. Ross Reed of the Shelby County post of the patrol says know where the construction zone begins and ends, the transition areas and the lane shifts – and maintain a slower speed.

The Ohio Department of Transportation indicates the construction will not be finished until October.
