DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton woman accused of stealing a guide dog from a blind owner heads to court.

Bonnie Ritchie was indicted today on theft from the elderly or disabled, a fifth degree felony.

In February, Sheryl Williams made a plea on 2 NEWS asking the person who stole her guide dog, Diamond, to bring her home.

Through that story, the man who says he bought Diamond from Ritchie, contacted police and the dog was returned.
