Bomb squad called to Troy business

TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – A bomb squad has left the 1400 block of West Market Street in Troy.

Dispatchers told 2 NEWS at least one building at the Clopay facility was evacuated late Thursday night.

Our news partners at the Troy Daily News report someone found a suspicious package with a note indicating there was a bomb in the building.

Bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in to assist the investigation.

After several hours, authorities determined the building was safe.
