Driver crashes car, narrowly misses house

HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A driver lost control of his car early Thursday morning, crashing into a fence.

Police say his car stopped just short of a family sleeping inside their home.

It happened on Keenan Avenue in Harrison Township just after 2:00 a.m.

The homeowner told 2 NEWS the driver appeared intoxicated and tried to go inside his house, but he pushed him out.

He said the boulder in his yard stopped the car from barreling into the living room where his grandchildren were asleep on the couch.

The driver was taken away in an ambulance. Charges are pending.
