DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police along with members of the Montgomery County Combined Agency OVI Task Force will hold a no refusal sobriety checkpoint Saturday night starting at 10 p.m. in the area of North Gettysburg and Kings Highway.

The goal of the OVI task force is to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related crashes in Dayton and Montgomery County.

Sobriety checkpoints help deter impaired driving and help officials apprehend those who decide to get behind the wheel after drinking.

Officials warn, if you’re going to drink, designate a driver.
