Police called to Mendelson’s after alarm sounds

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after they’re called to a possible break-in at Mendelson’s Warehouse.

Officers arrived to the building located at 329 East First Street early Thursday morning.

Security guards had received an alarm trip on an elevator inside the warehouse and saw two men standing on the fire escape steps on the south side of the building. Both men took off running.

Police checked the warehouse but didn’t find signs of anyone breaking inside.

Officers are still investigating.
