DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police bust a large underage party after they respond to a Dayton home on a medic assist call.
Police were called to the 4100 block of Loyala Chase Lane just before 1 a.m. Sunday after a girl fell and cut her head.
When police arrived, they met with the girl and found a large party taking place at the house. According to police, she was highly intoxicated and unable to communicate coherently. Police said she had a large cut above her eye. The girl was taken to the Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek for treatment.
Police estimated there were 200-300 people attending the party.
While inside, they noticed a multitude of empty beer bottles and cans. Officers also detected a heavy smell of burnt marijuana.
Police met with the 20-year-old host of the party. She told officers the home actually belonged to her parents. She stated there were more people at the party than she intended. She said more people showed up because she sent out an open invitation on Twitter.
The host told police she didn’t know a girl had gotten hurt.
She told police she didn’t provide alcohol for the party and people had brought their own.
Everyone cleared out of the house.
The host was issued a summons request for the underage party.
