BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) — A Beavercreek L.A. Fitness was evacuated after fire crews were called for smoke coming from the building.

Firefighters responded to the L.A. Fitness at The Greene at 4494 Walnut Street around 10 a.m. Sunday.

According to officials, a firefighter was in the gym working out at the time and noticed smoke on the second floor. He pulled the fire alarm and alerted everyone to get out of the building.

About 100 people were inside at the time. Everyone made it out safely. No injuries were reported.

According to officials, an air conditioning unit on the rooftop caught fire, but firefighters were able to put out the smoke.

An electrician is expected to come out to the gym later to take a look at the unit.

The gym has since reopened and everyone has been allowed back inside the building.
