Man killed after becoming trapped under utility vehicle

SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is killed after becoming trapped under a utility vehicle.

It happened at Tom’s Mulch & Landscaping in the 2100 block of Ferry Road around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to officials, he was driving over hills of mulch when the vehicle over turned on top of him.

CareFlight was called to the scene and crews tried to extricate him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released. The victim is in his mid to late 30s.
