Man stabbed after refusing to buy beer

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man said he was stabbed in the neck after he refused to buy a woman beer.

Police were called to the 1900 block of Elsmere Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

The victim told police he was walking in the area of Salem Avenue and Elsmere Avenue when he met up with a woman he recently met. He said she asked him to buy her beer, but when he said he wasn’t going to, she got mad and cut him in the neck with what he believed was a razor.

After the suspect cut him, she walked down the street to her sister’s apartment.

The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. He is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.
