Driver crashes in front of Good Sam, taken to MVH

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A driver who crashed into a tree in front of Good Samaritan Hospital was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.

The crash happened just before 2 a.m. Monday at Philadelphia Drive and Sherwood Drive when Dayton police say the driver lost control of his vehicle.

Police say the driver’s injuries are not life-threatening, but due to the extent of those injuries, he was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, which is a trauma center.

Police did not say whether the driver would be cited.
