SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A Springfield woman is now in prison for felonious assault.

Tabitha Wooten will serve six years for shooting a man in the chest.

Wooten was set to go to trial today for shooting Jeremy Frey in 2013, but she pleaded guilty Friday and was immediately sentenced.

Police say Frey went to a home to buy drugs.

That’s when Wooten called him into a room and shot him.

She spent some time on the run, even making it onto our Crime Stoppers Most Wanted List.
