RICHMOND, Ind. (WDTN) – Tuesday marks a somber anniversary for a Wayne County, Indiana family.

It was 13 years ago that Niqui McCown went missing and her family remains hopeful that she will be found.

McCown was just weeks from her wedding when she went to a laundromat in Richmond, Indiana in 2001 and never came home.

Her SUV was found months later in Harrison Township, but no sign of her.

Her family is holding a cookout and candlelight vigil in her memory Tuesday at the family home in Richmond.

Investigators continue to follow up on all leads.
