American flyers still confident

DAYTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Ohio (WDTN) – An aviation crisis consultant says Americans may be a little nervous recently because of the recent flight tragedies, but that will make them pay more attention to their surroundings.

Ken Jenkins says primarily in the United States, air travel is still the safest form of travel and he doesn’t see any shake up in airline confidence.

Alyssa Rountree, of Springboro is flying for the first time – and she’s going to Prague, Czechoslovakia on a mission trip. “I was scared to take off if something happens, but I’m still going.”
