Anthropologist called in to test bones found

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An anthropologist spent Thursday morning in Dayton examining remains found last week.

An expert from Cincinnati was called because the remains were severely weathered and the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office was unable to determine the person’s identity.

It’s unclear how long it will be before we know something.

The remains were found on Home Avenue. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
