DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Streets are closing ahead of the Celtic Festival.

According to city officials, you can expect to see Patterson Boulevard, Monument Avenue, and St. Clair Street closed during the festival.

This, following the closure of all southbound and northbound I-75 ramps though downtown due to the modernization project.

City officials know this can be especially confusing to drivers over the next several days, so they want you to plan in advance.

The following ramps will stay open throughout construction and serve as primary detours to access downtown: Jefferson Street off of U.S. 35, Main Street off of I-75, and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard off I-75.

All festival-related closures are expected to reopen to regular traffic by Monday July 28th at 2 a.m.

You can find directions and parking information for the festival here.
