Coroner identifies man hit during chase

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office released the name of the man killed after a police chase Thursday.

Agyasi J. Ector, 27, was walking in the area of Olive Road and Shiloh Springs Road when the suspect eluding police struck him with his car.

The chase started after police say during a drug investigation, the suspect rammed two police cars to get away from officers.

Speeds reached as high as a 100 mph.

Two others were injured.

The sheriff’s office is handling the investigation.
