DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Miami Valley could be in line for some weekend thunderstorms.

Storm Team 2 is already tracking the system that could bring strong storms to the area Saturday evening and Sunday.

“Some of these storms could pack strong winds,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Tara Hastings. “We’ll have to keep track of exact arrival times Saturday. We could also see storms set up on Sunday as well.”

The high Saturday is 86. The weekend storms set us up for a cooler and less humid week.

The highs to start the week will be in the 70s.

As always, you can rely on Storm Team 2 throughout the weekend to keep you updated on the situation.
