HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — Folks in Huber Heights put their feet to the pavement Saturday to help raise funds to lower pay-to-play fees.

The inaugural Every Warrior Plays 5K Run/Walk was held at Wayne High School Saturday morning.

About 300-400 people turned out for the event. An awards ceremony followed the race. There were also refreshments and door prizes.

Net proceeds will benefit student athletes to lower pay to play fees for sports in Huber Heights City Schools.
