Man robbed of $2,500 while unloading groceries

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating after a man is robbed at gunpoint.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of Salem Avenue around 9:40 p.m. Saturday.

The victim told police he was unloading groceries from his car when a man armed with a gun and two women approached him and demanded money. The victim said he feared for his life and gave the male suspect $2,500 in cash.

The three suspects then fled the scene.

Police searched the area for the suspects but didn’t find anyone.

The incident remains under investigation.
