Police: Daughter stabs mother in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman is in custody after police say she stabbed her 69-year-old mother.

Police were called to 5220 Angelita Drive after 3 a.m. Sunday.

Officers arrived and found a 33-year-old woman had stabbed her mother and then ran from the scene.

The victim fled the attack and ran to a home on Laurelview Drive at which time the residents there called 911.

The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with what police are calling serious injuries.

The suspect was later found at the Speedway gas station at 6285 Chambersburg Road and taken into custody. Police also recovered a weapon.

The suspect’s name is not being released until formal charges are approved by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

Detectives are still investigating the incident.
