Butler Twp. Walmart re-opens after bomb scare

Butler Township Walmart evacuated.

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Butler Township Walmart is back open after a bomb threat forced an evacuation Monday evening.

A Walmart spokesperson told 2 NEWS the store on Miller Lane received the threat over the telephone around 5:30 p.m.

The managers then called police and asked all employees and customers to leave the store.

Butler Township police investigated but found no credible threat so the store was reopened around 7 p.m.
