DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The University of Dayton is re-thinking its newly introduced logo.

Our partners at the Dayton Business Journal are reporting that it will involve three different versions.

UD confirmed to the DBJ that the midcourt logo at UD Arena is now entirely red. It previously had three navy blue lines coming off a red D.

The logo remains in the same design, but the colors change. A second version is all blue in color and the third remains red and blue.

The University of Dayton logo change has been a hot topic since its debut two weeks ago.

Many critics say the U looks more like a V.
