HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Shots fired in Harrison Township hit a home where children were sleeping Tuesday.
Montgomery County deputies say at least eight casings were found at the scene on Neff Road along with bullet holes in the home and a car.
Neighbors believe a nearby hotel is the problem. Deputies agree.
“We’ve had issues with the hotel and it’s something we’ve stayed on top of, but recently we haven’t had much trouble with the hotel at all,” said Captain Jeremy Roy, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses spotted a silver, two door vehicle when the shots were fired. They say a woman was behind the wheel and she drove off immediately following the gunfire.
