CHICAGO (WDTN) – The Chicago Tribune is reporting the gunman in a high-rise shooting Thursday in Chicago is Tony DeFrances, 59.

According to DeFrances’ LinkedIn page, he is a graduate of the University of Dayton.

UD officials tell 2 NEWS that Tony DeFrances did graduate from the school, but would not confirm that it is the same man.

Police say DeFrances was angry because he was recently demoted.

Police say he shot the company’s CEO before killing himself.
