Woman tased after boyfriend arrested

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police found themselves tangled up in an early morning assault.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of Wyoming Street at 12:30 a.m.

They took Terry Pugh, 48, into custody on an assault charge. Officers then had to deal with Pugh’s girlfriend.

According to the police report, Helen Murray, 48, became agitated about what would happen to Pugh. She left the scene and investigators say she nearly hit a police officer in the process.

The report goes on to say that it took a shot with a taser to finally get her arrested at her apartment on Arbor Boulevard.

The report goes on to say that Pugh kicked out a back door window of a cruiser.

Both were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Murray was arrested on several charges including assault and resisting arrest. Pugh was arrested for assault and vandalism.
