HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – A strong smell of gas chased guests from their hotel rooms in Huber Heights Tuesday.

Firefighters evacuated the Hampton Inn in the 5800 block of Merrily Way around 12:30 p.m. on the report of a gas leak.

They say the leak originated in the area of the swimming pool.

Guests were standing outside while crews, including Vectren, investigated.

No one was hurt.
