GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A Greenville man is accused of stealing $2.00 from a 90-year old woman’s bible.

Police were investigating a burglary at the woman’s home on East 4th Street on Saturday night. The woman told officers the suspect already took money from her twice leading up to this report.

She says she let the man inside her house when he said he had cash to pay her back. Once inside, police say the man waived a weapon around and demanded $40.00.

The woman refused, so the suspect, Randy Hofacker, 53, took off with the two bucks.

Hofacker is charged with aggravated robbery. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail.

The elderly victim was treated at her home for minor injuries.
