BUTLER TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The Butler Township Trustees pulled a request for a hearing about a traffic solution at the new Proctor and Gamble distribution center.
The board sent a letter to the county pulling their request to vacate a portion of Jackson Road so that a cul-de-sac can be installed to ease traffic.
Trustees say they want to get back in touch with residents to find a better location then resubmit the request.
A hearing was set for today for residents to meet with Montgomery County engineers to voice their concerns. It is now canceled.
The P&G distribution center is being built on Jackson Road near the City of Union’s Global Logistics Airpark.
Residents worry about traffic congestion and noise, but believe a cul-de-sac coming from the new facility will help.
