Police ID Springfield shooting victim

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – Springfield police are investigating a shooting that happened late Tuesday morning.

Police told 2 NEWS 37-year-old Eric Lee Lewis was shot around 11 a.m. on Oakwood Place at the intersection of South Lowry Avenue.

Lewis was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.

His condition has not been released.

Officers are investigating to determine a motive and continue to search for a suspect.
