Two bank robbery suspects arrested for trio of bank heists

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton office of the FBI confirms that two men are in custody, accused of three recent bank robberies.

Shaun Mawby, 28, and Josh Petrosino, 34 were arrested at an apartment complex in Washington Township Tuesday.

They are the suspects in robberies at Chase Banks in West Carrollton, Springboro and Kettering over the past couple of weeks.

The FBI searched the men’s apartment looking for cash, but found none. They suspect that they were using the money to buy heroin.

The duo reportedly confessed to officers that they robbed the banks.
