Reward money increased to find fair rabbit killer

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) – An Eaton businessman is upping the reward money to find the person responsible for the deaths of nine rabbits at the Preble County Fair.

The Preble County Sheriff’s Office says the person is adding $1,000 to the pot, bring the reward to $1,500 for information that leads to an arrest.

The rabbits were found dead inside their cages at the beginning of August.

The sheriff believes they were killed intentionally.

The fair is now over, but the sheriff added extra security during the fair.
