Four indicted for pot trafficking ring

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Four people are now formally on the line, accused of running a marijuana trafficking ring.

Jeremy Corwin, 27, of Kettering, William Murphy, 34, of Dayton, Bradley O’Neal 26, of Dayton, and Velma Thorpe, 25, of Kettering all face a slew of charges including trafficking in drugs and possession.

Their arrests came after a raid on November 25, 2013 at houses in Kettering, Vandalia and Dayton.

Prosecutors say the houses were used as stash houses to warehouse large amounts of pot and hashish as well as a lot of cash.

Investigators pulled 70 pounds of pot and $350,000 in cash during that November raid.

The four suspects also faces charges in Darke and Warren counties.
