Springfield OSP investigates fatal crash

PLEASANT TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The Springfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.

Jessy Reeder, 21, of South Vienna was driving on State Route 54 when he drove off the side of the road. Troopers say he drove across three driveways, crossed back over the road then hit a utility pole.

Reeder was flown to Miami Valley Hospital where he later died.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.

The investigation is ongoing.
