GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A warrant was issued to arrest an arson suspect, but no one was home.

Police are looking for Lowell “Bill” Bowers. They want to question him about eight car fires and several car thefts that happened on July 22.

Officers served the warrant at Bowers home Thursday, but he was not there.  Police say Bowers knows he’s wanted.

A second suspect, Joshua Willis, is in the Mercer County Jail on theft charges connected to the same crimes.

Call the Greenville Police Department at 937-548-4150 or the Darke County Crime Stoppers hotline at 937-547-1661 if you have any information about Bowers’ whereabouts.
