Warrant issued for car arson suspect

GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A warrant was issued to arrest an arson suspect, but no one was home.

Police are looking for Lowell “Bill” Bowers. They want to question him about eight car fires and several car thefts that happened on July 22.

Officers served the warrant at Bowers home Thursday, but he was not there. ¬†Police say Bowers knows he’s wanted.

A second suspect, Joshua Willis, is in the Mercer County Jail on theft charges connected to the same crimes.
