Police called to library disturbance

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A disturbance at a Dayton library leads to a man in custody.

Robert Amann, 46, was arrested for felony possession of drugs.

Officers were originally dispatched to the Burkhardt Library around 11:30 a.m. Friday on reports of a disorderly suspect.

A security guard said Amann had been in and out of the library for an hour and a half and was disturbing patrons.

When police met with Amann they found he had an active warrant and was arrested. When officers searched him, they also found he was carrying marijuana and a prescription used to treat opiate addictions.

Amann was booked into jail. He is expected in court Monday.
