Taco Bell robbed at gunpoint

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police are searching for the suspect who held up a Taco Bell restaurant Wednesday evening.

It happened just before 7 p.m. in the 3000 block of Salem Avenue. Police said a man walked up to the counter, pulled a gun and demanded cash. He then fled in a car.

2 NEWS spoke with a witness who said she dove to the ground to take cover when the man pulled the weapon.

Dayton police are now checking surveillance video from nearby businesses for the suspect or vehicle.
