City of Dayton gets upgraded credit rating

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Good financial news for the City of Dayton.

The S & P upgraded the city’s credit rating.

The rating changes from AA- to AA.

The city carries a general obligation debt of $6-million.

Both S & P and Moody’s credit agency cited the City of Dayton’s sound fiscal management and stable cash reserve fund as major reasons for their positive outlooks.
