Police: Dog quarantined after bites to protect owner

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A dog is in quarantine after police say it attacked to protect its owner.

According to the police report, a group of women were fighting in the 100 block of Kelley Avenue when the dog bit two of the women.

Police say it appears the dog acted in defense of its owner.

Those women were treated at the hospital.

The dog is now being monitored.
