Police: Cooking pot lands during domestic dispute

Dayton-Police-Car

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – It is a case of ‘he said, she said’, but there is definitely a cooking pot involved.

Dayton police are investigating after being sent to an apartment in the 1300 block of North Main Street Friday morning.

A police report says the couple there fought, but that’s where the story gets sticky.

Clarence Moses, III says in the report that his girlfriend started yelling at him as he was sleeping. He claims she first swung a chair at him, but that didn’t work. So, she reportedly grabbed a cooking pot that hit the mark, striking him in the head.

His girlfriend claims she was the one who got hit, so she ran outside, hid under the porch and called police.

Moses was arrested on charges domestic violence and was taken to jail.
