Police release video of teen’s ‘joyride’

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Huber Heights police released cruiser video of a teenager’s apparent joyride overnight.

They are not releasing the teen’s name due to his age, but he is back home with his mom.

Officers say they tried to stop the SUV around 12:30 a.m. Friday after seeing it without the headlights turned on in the area of Bufort and Fisher roads.

Police say the driver turned into the Glenburn Green Apartment complex and took off.

He lost control when he went over a speed bump and drove into the rental office.

The boy was not hurt, but he was handed multiple citations.
