Dayton’s fire chief responds to ice bucket challenge

DAYTON, Ohio (WDNT) – Dayton’s Fire Chief answers the call of a relative and 2 NEWS Anchor to help raise money and awareness for Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Chief Jeff Payne accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge Saturday. It’s in response to a challenge by his nephew John Seibel. He and 2 News’ Holly Samuels accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge Friday.

The 2 NEWS Today team asked their kids to help as they braced for the chilling water for a good cause.
