Fair highlights health and community

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A local church opens its doors to promote good health and a sense of community.

A big turnout to Fairview United Methodist Church Saturday for their annual Community Outreach and Health Fair.
Inside, there were free health screenings and informational booths. But outside, it was a block party!

The food bank provided free health food. There were also games, music and back to school supplies and clothes for kids in need.
It’s all to spread goodwill throughout the community.

“This is an opportunity for us to get education and information to our community as well as have a good time. So we’re enjoying meeting our neighbors, having fun, and getting to know new people,” said Barbara Wiechel, Pastor of Fairview United Methodist Church.
